Now Pear, a Norwegian studio, has gone live with an impressive new website that follows the same concept. It combines AI generated video that plays on scroll with WebGL. We covered ActiveFrame here, a library for this technique, a while back.

According to the team, Figma wasn't used at all. The stack was GPT Image 2 for stills, Seedance 2 for video, and Fable 5 in Claude Code.

From a quick look under the hood, the site appears to be built with React and Vite, using GSAP (with ScrollTrigger) for the animations, WebGL for the interactive visuals, and likely Lenis for smooth scrolling.

One of the coolest details is that the site has multiple versions of the opening hero video. Reload the page a few times to see the different variations.
